One of the 10 essential benefits of the Affordable Care Act is pediatric dental. On the surface, it sounds like a great idea to provide this coverage. In reality, even someone in their 60's must carry pediatric dental coverage to be in compliance with the new law.
This is one of the unintended consequences of mandating having pediatric dental included, regardless of the age of the client. It would have made more sense to make this optional coverage, depending on the client's age.
